The Sports Arena in Budapest, aka Papp László Budapest Sportarena, will see 6 ice hockey countries battle for the medals from 14 to 20 April 2013. Tickets are already on sale from HUF 1,500 to HUF 19,000. In addition to the awesome hockey games, you can also see the Ice Hockey Exhibition in the nearby Budapest Sports Museum (see more info below).

Ice Hockey Exhibits Budapest Sports Museum

Connected to the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sports Arena you can find the Hungarian Sports Museum. On top of the Ice Hockey World Championship, you can see really cool memorabilia, a rich collection of Hungarian and international exhibitions about the history of hockey.

Many of the items have been provided by ice hockey players, collectors, ice hockey coaches. Some of the exhibits are provided by the International Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. In 2011, at the previous ice hockey games, visitors saw things like Wayne Gretzky’s jersey, the helmet of Sidney Crosby, or of Mario Lemieux, a puck at a Stanley Cup Final, and a lot of valuable items. The exhibition is opened by Rene Fasel, president of the International Association.
